This guide will give you the setup instructions needed to begin using your Bluetooth-enabled eBeam system with your computer. Before you begin, make sure that you have installed the latest software for your system.

Note to Vista Users: If using the Iogear GBU-221, please download the Iogear Vista driver (ZIP, 44M), then follow the steps for Widcomm Bluetooth.

If using the D-Link DBT-120 or Iogear GBU-211, no driver installation is necessary; use Vista's built-in drivers and follow the steps for Microsoft Bluetooth.

If Bluetooth is integrated into your computer, please contact your computer manufacturer for Vista compatibility information.

Which eBeam product and software are you using? eBeam Projection (eBeam Interact) eBeam Whiteboard (eBeam System 3) Operating system Windows XP Service Pack 2 Windows XP, pre-Service Pack 2 Windows 2000 Mac OS X 10.4 or later Mac OS X 10.2 - 10.3.9 To check the Service Pack level in Windows XP, go to Start > Control Panel > System. To check the version of Mac OS X, go to "About This Mac" in the Apple menu (upper left-hand corner of the screen). Bluetooth drivers Microsoft Bluetooth Widcomm Bluetooth (D-Link / Iogear) (Note: If you're not sure which Bluetooth drivers to select, just leave the default selection for your operating system.) Did your eBeam receiver include a sticker marked "Bluetooth Passkey: 1234" over the USB port? Yes No (If you're not sure or don't remember, choose No.)
